Saturday, April 26 - from 12 PM - 1:30 PM, IN CAULFIELD HALL
It has already been 13 years since the universal Church held a synod on the New Evangelization. What seemed to be both a buzzword and a mandate has faded into the past. Lots of spending but with little understanding and even less formation can leave one questioning if the endeavor is failed at the level of your average Catholic and undesired by those called to lead. This talk aims not to remedy anything, but to provide a basic understanding of what the new evangelization is, how it is successfully undertaken, and where we stand in the dioceses of the United States today.
