Junior Sodality is an organization for girls grades 6th-8th who wish to practice the principles of being good Catholics and have a deeper devotion to Jesus through Mary. As Junior Sodalists, the girls will have opportunities to grow spiritually, be of service to our parish and community, and meet new friends.
Congratulations to 2026 DeChantal eighth graders Shannon Gleeson and Vivian Cannon, who are the winners of the 2026 Junior Sodality scholarship essay contest! Shannon was awarded first place and Vivian was awarded second place. Shannon received a $1,500 scholarship to her chosen Catholic high school, St. John's College High School. Vivian received a $1,000 scholarship to her chosen Catholic high school, Connelly School of the Holy Child.
