The Little Bethlehem Christian Group will be present after all Masses the weekend of October 11 and 12. Little Bethlehem is a group that represents 200 Christian families who live in Bethlehem and make their living as wood carvers. They offer religious items, carved from the olive wood of the Holy Land, to support and help fund the Christian presence in the Holy Land. For more information, visit www.little-bethlehem.org. Every October, we consider more deeply why every human life is valuable and reflect on how to build a culture that protects life from conception to natural death. This October, all are invited to join the Rosary Campaign for the Unborn. A sign-up sheet will be available in the Church Narthex starting the weekend of September 27 and 28. Write your name and how many rosaries’ you pledge to pray for the month. In celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of pets and animals, Fr. Giese and Fr. Morgan will be offering a blessing of animals on Sunday, October 5 between 2pm - 3pm at the Mary Garden. For those who would like to remain in their vehicle and would like to have their pets blessed inside their car, please inform us ahead of time (until Thursday, October 2) by emailing the parish office at [email protected] or call at 301-530-1550.
